Our youth and student ministry exists to reach and introduce young people to Christ, to connect them together, help them grow in their faith, challenge them to discover their gifts and life mission in the world and honour God with their lives through demonstrating Christ's values in action.

Youth and student ministry life can be found in different aspects of the church.

Sunday services, music, and membership programmes

Home groups, International Friendship Association
 

International mission

short term projects abroad, identifying partners (Interserve, Tear Fund, Christian Aid, Scripture Union), correspondence with mission partners, prayer support, and practical support (packages, fundraising for projects)
 

Local community action and development

Nightreach on a Thursday Night (11pm to 2am) links and visits to, Women's Aid, 174 Trust, Bridge, Habitat for Humanity; organize work parties, and fundraising for chosen projects.

Evangelism

seasonal events, parties, trips and projects, friendship evangelism, music nights, youth services
 

Giving

providing information on projects, training in fundraising, practical opportunities to give.
 

Citizenship and political engagement

preparing youth for peace programme, raising political awareness, lobbying local government, praying for political representatives, letters of support for political leaders.

Accommodation is available for 88 students at Derryvolgie Halls.


Regular events are organised at The Bush: The Presbyterian Chaplaincy at Queens.
