Sundays @ Fitzroy

I often say in my welcome on Sunday mornings that Fitzroy is different every week. I am thinking of a visitor or someone looking for a church. If they like this service or don’t like it, it might be the only time it is like this.

We have different worship leaders on rotation and the songs are mostly contemporary, though we honour tradition too. We pray for the world and the issues in our headlines and behind them. We attempt in sermons to apply the text of the Biblical landscape to the contemporary one that we live in. In whatever ways it differs each week, we aim for relevance and vibrancy touching head, heart and soul, and graciously warm in its welcome.
