DVD Available: As part of the recent Fitzroy Arts Festival, Philip Orr gave a talk on faith, suffering and language in the poetry of three clergymen - RS Thomas, George Herbert and Gerard Manley Hopkins.   Philip's commentary and poetic readings have been merged with the images and sounds from the talk and is available as a DVD lasting just over 28 minutes.   If you would like a copy (there is no charge, but a small contribution to the work of Saphara would be appreciated), please contact Nigel Henderson by email (henderson@seahill12.freeserve.co.uk) or by telephone (9042 7903).   Separate video files for each poet will be uploaded to the Fitzroy website in due course. Church Office, 05/07/2010 0 Comments  |  Permalink   Fitzroy Flower Planters The Fitzroy Caring for Creation group has arranged for Belfast City Council to provide and maintain two three-tier planters at the front of the church building.   The Fitzroy Caring for Creation group will be contributing to the cost and we invite members of the congregation to contribute.   There will be plates in the vestibule at the end of services throughout June or you can use one of the spare envelopes at the back of your book to contribute.   Thank you for your support for this initiative to brighten up the front of our church.
