A Thanksgiving Service was held at Clonard Monastery on Sunday 8th June to mark the retirement, later this year, of Very Rev Dr Ken Newell. Ken & Fr Gerry shared some of their experiences of the Fitzroy / Clonard Fellowship over the years and the large congregation enjoyed the music provided by the choirs of Clonard & Fitzroy, the Clonard Folk Group, the Fitzroy Group, Fr Clem MacManuis and the "Sounds Good" orchestra directed by Chris Blake.
